"This is an utterly stunning album of electro-acoustic Ambient music, recommended if you enjoy Ambient work with a more musical focus" - Irregular Crates.

"Many of these are like watercolour paintings, with a major role for the guitar, tinkling, looping and sometimes mildly screaming about. Other instruments play a smaller role here, but paint similar colours. The pieces with vocals are rockier, with the almost eight minutes of the title piece as the rockiest of all-them all, and 'Strasswalchen In November' with vocals by Ferri as a more dreamy counter piece. This album is quite beautiful and it wouldn't have been out of place on say Static Caravan. Breezy ambinet folk for an early summer's day" - Frans de Waard (Vital Weekly)

"One of the most unexpected and surprising things about Geography of the Heart—even if the title does offer a preliminary clue—is how sensual its music is. Not surprisingly, the vocal settings are suffused with warmth and tenderness, but the instrumentals are also delicate, a quality enhanced by the music's oft-acoustic emphasis. The material is in places so soothing, it suggests the kind of music that would be playing in a dimly lit bedroom as two lovers lie in a state of post-coital bliss. In keeping with that sensuality, Geography of the Heart is very much a painterly album, one enriched by tiny details and open-hearted feeling." - Textura

"Geography of the Heart is a record that sounds so far from home, but as close as a lover" - Iliyas Ong (Time Out Singapore)

Mit 'Home' und 'In The Air, Across The See, On The Way Home', wo übrigens Noel Akchoté mitspielt, ist zweimal von 'heim' die Rede.

'Geography of the Heart' meets pop, electronics, creating soft and melodic atmospheres." - Guillermo Escudero (Loop)

"It’s an album brimming with detail underneath haze-induced production. The whole record feels transient, but with a running time slightly under an hour, that’s probably its best quality. Teaming up with a storied team of musicians, including Scott Cortez or legendary underground shoegaze group loveliescrushing and Singaporean sound artist Darren Ng (Sonicbrat), Fuzz impresses with his refined grasp of musicianship while still leaving much room for experimentation that contributes to the album's immersive quality. " - Bandwagon Singapore

- Kenji Terada (Pastel Records)

- Kunieda Shirou (e-onkyo music/CD Journal)

Geography Of The Heart is a collection of memories and feelings as well as a celebration of being lost in the form of 12 songs, composed and recorded as a musical journal instead of a handwritten one during various travels between 2011 to 2013. From the ancient castle at the edge of Krakow's old town to the peaceful and quiet cemetery in Copenhagen to the back lanes of the Tokyo suburbs, the bones of these songs were composed in a stream of consciousness while in situ and were recorded as soon as possible before they are completely forgotten, to be expanded on the return home. This album marks a departure in style from previous works with a stronger focus on melody, musicianship, back-to-basics song crafting and the spirit of improvisation. A pop or folk inspired album if you will, but with an ambient heart.
This album features guest collaborators from all over the world. Among them, American singer-songwriter Jessica Bailiff, Macedonian singer Genoveva Kachurkova, Japanese musicians Ferri, Shunichiro Fujimoto (Fjordne) and Junya Yanagidaira (ironomi), Singaporean sound artist Darren Ng (sonicbrat) and musician Victor Low (Affixen), legendary American shoegaze guitarist Scott Cortez (lovesliescrushing), Australian experimental musician Charlie Sage (Year Of The Ox, Hessien) and
well-known French jazz guitarist and improviser Noël Akchoté. With their talents, the songs were expanded way beyond their original vision. All compositions were written, mixed and produced by elintseeker.

- ARTIST PROFILE
elintseeker is the solo project of Fuzz Lee from Singapore. With composition, textural sound design, silence, improvised movements of guitar, sound processing, light glitch electronics, found sound and field recordings, he articulates or reflects his feelings about daily life into musical form. He approaches composition with the mind-set of a painter painting a picture, by small strokes of the brush.
